As we continue through 2025, I want to take a moment to reflect on our community’s enduring strength and the collective impact we create together. The Foundation for Enhancing Communities has long been dedicated to fostering positive change, and your partnership continues to make that possible.
In 2024, we remained committed to thoughtful stewardship of charitable assets, ensuring long-term financial stability while responding to our region’s evolving needs. Whether through supporting innovative nonprofit initiatives, strengthening local partnerships or investing in opportunities that drive meaningful progress, TFEC continues to grow as a philanthropic leader. Your trust and partnership in safeguarding charitable resources allows us to adapt to challenges, and seize new opportunities that benefit our region.
Over the past year, we strengthened our mission by successfully acquiring 2416 Park Drive as a future headquarters centrally located to and easily accessible by the people we serve. We expanded our philanthropic impact by creating 30 new funds, including a $6 million estate gift, and deepened relationships with professional advisors to ensure long-term sustainability. We welcome others to join in on our mission through events, like our Inspire and Ignite year-end reception which welcomed over 250 attendees. We expanded partnerships with organizations such as the Asian Indian Americans of Central PA and the Lebanon Valley Chamber of Commerce, working to reinforce our role as a convener of philanthropic collaboration across south-central Pennsylvania.
Building on this strong foundation, 2025 presents new opportunities to expand our impact. This spring, our Virtual Early Learning Conference will provide early education professionals with valuable tools to support the next generation of learners. As we celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Fund for Women and Girls, we are committed to reaching a $1 million endowment that will sustain programs empowering women and girls for generations to come. We are laying the groundwork for deeper community impact with our upcoming Spark! campaign and other new initiatives, ensuring we remain responsive to the evolving needs of our region. To support these and other initiatives, we are strengthening our leadership team by welcoming new team members and elevating key roles to ensure TFEC remains well-positioned to serve our community.
