HARRISBURG, PA —The Franklin County Community Foundation (FCCF) announced that $71,180 in grant funds have been awarded to 20 Franklin County area nonprofit organizations through competitive grant opportunities. Awarded projects will commence between September 1, 2024, and August 31, 2025.

After careful review of numerous grant application submissions, the following were awarded funding for the 2024 – 2025 fiscal year:

  • Alexander Hamilton Memorial Free Library – Summer Reading Program 2025
  • Boys and Girls Club of Chambersburg and Shippensburg – Empower Youth Mental Health and SMART Moves
  • Chambersburg Ballet Guild – 25th Anniversary of the Chambersburg Ballet – New Production of Cinderella with Free Community Performance
  • Children’s Aid Society – Self Pay for Clients at the Frances Leiter Center
  • Conococheague Institute for the Study of Cultural Heritage – Animal Husbandry on the Frontier
  • Council for the Arts – Free Arts Education Program
  • Cumberland Valley Breast Care Alliance – Lymphatic Massage Therapy Sessions for Breast Cancer Patients
  • Diaper Depot Central – Diaper Depot at Central (DD@C)
  • Fannett-Metal Volunteer Fire and Ambulance Company – Hand Tools
  • Franklin County Historical Society – Kittochtinny – Immersive Histories: Audio Tours and Guest Speaker
  • Franklin County Legal Services – Meeting Basic Needs Through Legal Services
  • Friend of Fannett-Metal Athletics –Concession Stand Rehabilitation
  • Leah’s Legacy Foundation – Hub Resource Center (LifeSkill Workshops)
  • Lincoln Intermediate Unit No. 12 – Strengthening Adult Literacy and English Language Learning in Franklin County
  • PA Lyme Resource Network – Dare 2B Tick Aware – Franklin County
  • Pennsylvania Friends of Agriculture Foundation – Mobile Ag Lab Provides Agriculture Education to Franklin County Students
  • Pennsylvania Society for Biomedical Research – SPARC: Mobile STEM Education Program for K-12 Students in Franklin County
  • South Central Community Action Programs – The Gleaning Project – Franklin County
  • Waynesboro Community & Human Services – Community Health Nurse Program
  • Wilson College – Wilson College JEDI Speaker Series: Amplifying Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion
