The Mud Season Fund

Fund Type: Restricted
Regional Foundation: Greater Harrisburg Community Foundation

While grants are directed to several recipients' organizations that promote peace, justice and animal welfare, it is named Mud Season because we live half-time in rural Vermont, where late Winter / early Spring can be a challenging time of year for many folks. The Fund contributes to services such as low-cost lending, as well as help with basic needs — such as stocked food pantries. This is a small way of contributing to the well-being of neighbors in our community.
