Parents & Partners, a special initiative of The Foundation for Enhancing Communities, in conjunction with the Harrisburg Regional Chamber & CREDC, will be holding Investing Today, Bettering Tomorrow: Why Businesses Should Support Early Childhood Education on Wednesday, March 4th, 7:30am-11am at the Radisson Harrisburg (1150 Camp Hill Bypass, Camp Hill).

The event is geared primarily toward employers and why they should make the investment to support early childhood education initiatives. The breakfast event will feature a discussion moderated by Kathleen Pavelko, President and CEO of WITF. Presenters include:

  • Dr. Barbara Minzenberg, Deputy Secretary of the Office of Child Development and Early Learning
  • Ross Berger – ROAR College and Career Academy Coordinator, Harrisburg School District
  • Dr. John “Ski” Sygielski – President, HACC
  • Milton Brice – VP of Finance, The Hershey Company

Presenters will address how their affiliation (company/school/nonprofit organization) is positively affected by early childhood education and explain its invaluable benefits.
