Harrisburg, PA – The Lotus Fund, a fund of the Perry County Community Foundation, a regional foundation of The Foundation for Enhancing Communities (TFEC), is pleased to announce that Letters of Application are now being accepted from nonprofit organizations for arts projects serving residents of Perry County. Within this opportunity, up to $1,850 will be available for the support of arts programs or projects. All presented activities may take place at any time between April 2023 – March 2024; applicants will be notified of their status by April 1, 2023. All applicants must either be a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization or have a registered 501(c)(3) serve as a fiscal sponsor for the proposed project. Capacity building projects will not be considered.
To apply, interested applicants must submit a Letter of Application that includes the name of the applicant organization, the name of the fiscal sponsor (if applicable), a project description and budget, and dates during which the project will take place.
Letters of Application must be submitted to the Community Investment Team by 4pm on March 1, 2023. Letters must be emailed to grants@tfec.org.
About the Lotus Fund
The Lotus Fund was established in memory of Christine (Chris) Mathna to honor Chris’ love for the arts and all manner of creative expression. Chris celebrated and supported the arts throughout her life. She promoted and encouraged local artists through her support of the Perry County Council of the Arts and through her personal encouragement of many artists she knew and loved. The Lotus Fund is currently accepting donations in honor of Christine.
