Emerging Philanthropists Program Application

CLASS OF 2025

Deadline: Friday, January 10, 2025

TFEC is excited to provide an opportunity for emerging leaders in the Central PA community to become actively engaged with the power of philanthropy through the Emerging Philanthropists program (EPP). EPP seeks to engage Central PA’s emerging business and community leaders with the great possibilities that lie within philanthropic endeavors in Central PA. What does it mean to be philanthropic? How do I understand the needs of our community? What can I do to make an impact? EPP provides resources and educational opportunities for Central PA’s developing leaders who wish to be actively engaged in giving back to their community.

Starting in 2025, EPP was reimagined to include built-in networking and volunteering opportunities, delivered through half-day sessions. This new structure ensures that participants not only learn about philanthropic strategies but also build vital community connections with like-minded leaders and organizations.

Please note this program is for those ages 25-40.

Commitment

By my signature, I understand and affirm that the purpose of the Emerging Philanthropists Program is to increase my awareness and understanding about community philanthropy while learning the principles and practices of leadership. If selected, I will devote the time and efforts necessary to complete the program. I will participate fully as an actively engaged member of the 2025 class of the Emerging Philanthropists Program. I will remain involved in the program after my graduation, be it by mentoring the next class, speaking to future classes, attending graduation events, or volunteering in my community. The Classes of 2014-2023 along with TFEC decided to sustain this program into the future through the establishment of the Emerging Philanthropists endowment fund.
