Philanthropy - words set
Philanthropy in the United States is a vital aspect of America’s social, economic and civil life. For many years, philanthropic endeavors have helped support the arts, environment and education, make communities stronger, and provide for basic human needs to name just a few examples. The Philanthropy Outlook predicts the coming years to be more stable and optimistic than in the past with the following highlights for 2015 and 2016:

  • Increased contributions from all sources of giving
  • Increased total giving to exceed the estimated annualized average rate of growth since the Great Recession (3.1%)
  • Increased giving by foundations and corporations
  • Increased giving through estates
