Dr. Eva Bamberger Stahl Scholarship Fund
The Dr. Eva Bamberger Stahl Scholarship Fund is a scholarship Fund that benefits a senior student at Rutgers University or Douglass Residential College of Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey, who will be attending medical school following graduation.
The Fund was established by Dr. Raphael and Dorothea Bamberger Aronson, class of ’59, in memory of Dorothea’s sister Eva.
Dr. Bamberger Stahl, a graduate of New Jersey College for Women, class of ’54, (now Douglass Residential College of Rutgers University), received her medical degree from Women’s Medical College of Philadelphia in 1958. Following internship at Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia, she completed her residency in Dermatology at Columbia-Presbyterian Hospital in New York. As a Board-Certified Dermatologist, Dr. Bamberger Stahl established her own practice in Highland Park, New Jersey. In addition, she served as Chair of Dermatology at both Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital and St. Peter’s University Hospital in New Brunswick. Dr. Bamberger Stahl remained in practice for over 50 years. Both the general and medical community were the beneficiaries of her kindness and expertise.
This scholarship is a restricted scholarship and has no application. The recipient of this scholarship is selected by a predetermined set a criteria that was created by the donor(s) that established this scholarship.
