The Sherrin H. Baky-Nessler Scholarship Fund for the Capital Area Science and Engineering Fair

Sherrin H. Baky-Nessler graduated cum-laude from Gettysburg College with a BA in biology and went on to have a successful career in clinical and medical research and development, including work that was instrumental in the creation of the revolutionary cardio medication Verapamil. Ms. Baky-Nessler established this fund to recognize a female prize-winning participant of the Capital Area Science and Engineering Fair, who like herself, is interested in the field of clinical and medical research.

This scholarship is a restricted scholarship and has no application. The recipient of this scholarship is selected by a predetermined set of criteria that was created by the donor(s) that established this scholarship.
