Trinity Tutors Scholarship Fund

Trinity Lutheran Church, Camp Hill, has been tutoring 2nd graders in various Harrisburg schools for over 25 years. Trinity tutors offer one-on-one individual tutoring for an hour a week, under teacher direction, reinforcing reading or math skills. Teachers say the individual attention can be extremely beneficial. This scholarship will benefit a student who attended either Foose, Scott (now Lincoln), or Downey in 2nd grade. The tutors are passionate about their time with the kids and want to extend that passion to offer a scholarship to a high school student that may have participated in the tutor program.

Scholarship FAQ

Criteria

Student should be a graduating high-school senior from Harrisburg High School: John Harris Campus, Harrisburg High School: SciTech Campus, Harrisburg Virtual Learning Academy or Cougar Academy
Attended Scott, Foose or Downey Elementary Schools in Second grade and participated in the Trinity Tutors program from Harrisburg City School district
Full or Part time attendance at a Four Year, Two Year, Trade or Technical school or enrolled in a certificate program
Financial need
