Criteria
- Graduated from any of the following local schools: Susquehanna Township High School, Harrisburg High School, Sci-Tech High School, Capital Area School for the Arts (CASA), Steelton-Highspire High School, Central Dauphin, or Central Dauphin East High School or currently attending Lebanon Valley College as a freshman, sophomore, junior or senior
- Minimum 2.5 GPA
- Attendance at a two-year or four-year college or university, or creative arts/music school for the study of music
- Extra consideration will be given to those who plan to pursue audio engineering, non-traditional or other innovative forms of creative musical expression as well as high school students entering Lebanon Valley College for studying the same.
- Plans to attend school either full-time or part-time
- Evidence of extracurricular activities or volunteerism
- Financial need

- Supplemental documents. This may include a resume, letter(s) of recommendation, transcript, FAFSA Student Aid Report (SAR), or other scholarship-specific documents. Specific requirements are noted in the application.
Essay
Please discuss one of the following topics: If you were to create a new music genre, what would it be; How does music communicate/be used to enhance communication; An idea for the development of innovations in music; Explain what music means to you.
Renewability
Recipients of this scholarship may apply again for one additional consecutive year. Students must submit a full application but may be prompted to complete a different essay.
