HARRISBURG, PA — The Foundation for Enhancing Communities (TFEC) is pleased to announce that Jessica Graybill has been promoted to Director of Marketing & Communications with new hire John Gillespie joining the team as the Marketing and Communications Associate.
Jessica was promoted from her previous position as Interim Marketing & Communications Officer to Director of Marketing & Communications on June 11, 2024. She began at TFEC in December 2022 as the Marketing & Communications Associate.
Jessica earned her BA in Communication/Journalism from Shippensburg University. She is a 2021 graduate of the Leadership York Leadership Training Program and currently serves as the Secretary for the Board of Directors for the York County Children’s Advocacy Center.
Her degree propelled Jessica into a journalism career post-grad as a Legislative Reporter. Jessica made the switch to the nonprofit communications field in 2019 and in her most recent position before TFEC she served as the Marketing & Communications Director for YWCA York.
Jessica has moved into the Director of Marketing & Communications role and oversees and provides editorial direction and management for core TFEC communications.
John Gillespie joined the team as a Marketing & Communications Associate in June 2024. John graduated from the University of Pittsburgh (Pitt) in May 2024 where he studied Marketing and Public Writing. He’s had previous experience as a copywriting intern for Pitt’s Honors College and worked in UPMC’s Internal Communications department. John will help carry out the department’s vision by creating a social media plan, coordinating special events, and assisting with various projects.
