TFEC Welcomes New Board Members and Team Members
HARRISBURG, Pa. – The Foundation for Enhancing Communities (TFEC) recently added four new members to its team! TFEC also welcomed two new members to its Board of Directors.
Sharon Bass – Financial Services Associate
Sharon came to TFEC in September of 2021 from her previous role as the Administrative Director for Church Business, Finances, and Employees at Mt. Zion Greater Baptist Church. She joins our finance team to assist the Chief Financial Officer in accomplishing the day-to-day activities, which allow TFEC to meet its fiduciary responsibilities.
Caitlin Cluck – Program Officer for Community Investment
Caitlin joined the TFEC team in February 2022 with six years of previous grantmaking experience. Her insight will be invaluable as she manages all of TFEC’s competitive grantmaking opportunities.
Yamit Friedman – Community Investment Associate
Yamit came to TFEC in May of 2021, having previously worked for several years as a first-grade teacher. In her role she will work with the Program Officer of Community Investment on all of TFEC’s grant opportunities.
Tameka Rice – Financial Services Associate
Tameka joined the TFEC team in November of 2021 from her previous accounting roles with both for-profit and non-profit organizations. She will join the finance team and assist with TFEC’s numerous management agreements with local nonprofit organizations.
Board of Directors
The TFEC Board of Directors also welcomed two new members; Marlene Kanuck, retired community volunteer with over 30 years of experience with the PA Department of Education, and Todd Snovel, Vice President for Student Affairs and Community Engagement at the Pennsylvania College of Art and Design. TFEC thanks them for their willingness to serve and looks forward to working with them.
