The Foundation for Enhancing Communities (TFEC) announced the appointment of its new 2015 Board of Directors Chair, Kathy L. Pape.
Ms. Pape began her term as Board Chair this month. She has served on the board since January 2011, and was the Vice Chair from January 2013 through December 2014. She is currently the President and CEO of Pennsylvania American Water and Senior Vice President of American Water’s Mid-Atlantic Division. She replaces David A. Schankweiler, Journal Multimedia President, as the Board Chair. Mr. Schankweiler will remain on the Board.
“The Board of Directors provides guidance for the overall direction and goals of TFEC,” commented Janice R. Black, TFEC President and CEO. “We are extremely grateful for David’s leadership and look forward to having Kathy as our new Chair.”

TFEC’s Board of Directors also welcomed three new members to the Board in 2015: Barbara A. Darkes, McNees, Wallace & Nurick, LLC; Glenn P. Heisey, Capital BlueCross; Dolly M. Lalvani,
PricewaterhouseCoopers.
